Born in North Carolina to a military family, Jessica Critcher has since lived in several states including\u00a0 Arizona, Nevada, Existential Despair, California, Cognitive Dissonance, Virginia, Bliss, Denial, Tranquility, Youthful Ignorance, Montana, Hawaii, High Functioning Anxiety, and Massachusetts. She currently lives in South Carolina with her husband and her chihuahua.<\/p>\n
She has a bachelor\u2019s degree in English from the University of Hawai\u02bbi at M\u0101noa. Her articles and opinions\u00a0 have been featured in Freethought Today, Bitch Magazine, Gender Focus<\/a>, Katherine Press, Hardcore Droid<\/a>, and several other publications foolhardy enough to take a chance on her particular blend of hope and sarcasm.<\/p>\n Her fiction (inspired by such figures as her great grandmother, Virginia Woolf, and the giant\u00a0 pacific octopus) centers on the lives of women and their relationships with each other.
